Vectrix Announces Exploration of Strategic Initiatives and Reduction in Work

Middletown, R.I.- April 14 - Vectrix Corporation (AIM: VRX) (www.vectrix.com),
maker of the world's first high performance, two-wheel zero emission vehicle (ZEV), announces that while its efforts continue to secure new equity funding and government based loan or grant support as well as temporary financing, the Directors will now begin to seek other strategic alternatives which could include a merger or sale of the business. The Company will continue to provide updates to the market as we progress through these activities. In order to
conserve working capital for continuing operations during this period, the Company this week implemented cost savings measures including a significant reduction in workforce involving some 60 staff.  
 
Trading in the common stock of the Company remains suspended until further notice.

Middletown, R.I. - Vectrix Corporation (AIM: VRX) (www.vectrix.com) announces that it has laid off all but essential staff in an effort to conserve cash while continuing to pursue strategic options including the sale of the Company.
Remaining staff will simultaneously begin the process of preparing for a bankruptcy filing under Delaware law with a view to filing in the next thirty days in the event continuing efforts prove unsuccessful.  
 
The Company has been operating in challenging market conditions for some time as a result of the credit crunch and lack of consumer spending on bigger ticket retail purchases. The Company has made every effort to reduce costs and conserve cash, but market conditions continue to be difficult and the results of sales have been very disappointing. During the current fiscal year management has
explored options to secure financing for the Company as well as other
initiatives including the sale of the Company as a going concern.

Londres, 10 de novembre de 2009. Hesketh Motorcycles Ltd  es complau d'anunciar que ha signat un acord exclusiu amb New Vectrix, que segueix la producció del la seva coneguda moto elèctrica de emissions zero.
Les vectrix seran venudes al Regne Unit sota la marca "Hesketh" i seran anomenades  HZE Hesketh-Vectrix. Es comercialitzarà com el producte premium de una gama de motos elèctriques que es completarà amb dos nous models previstos en el transcurs de 2010.

La confirmació de la continuació de la marca Vectrix veu el camí clar per HMC per oferir un nou contracte a l'actual xarxa de concessionaris, que inclou extensió de garantia per a totes les motos Vectrix venudes en els últims dos anys.

Des del seu llançament al maig de 2007, Vectrix ha estat aclamada pels propietaris particulars, els gestors de flotes i comerciants com un producte pràctic i de qualitat,  en condicions de satisfer les necessitats d'avui en dia.
