How to use: Electrofon - Historical Virtual Instruments ==================================== WINDOWS ==================================== Unzip electrofon-win32-x64.zip to any folder. Open the folder and run: electrofon.exe If you like, you can create a shortcut on your desktop for convenience. ==================================== LINUX ==================================== To use this pack, you need to install an HTTP server and a Chromium based browser. ?? WARNING: Firefox may seem to work, but under heavy load it can crash your system. Using a Chromium based browser is strongly recommended. 1. Update your system: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y 2. Install lighttpd: sudo apt install lighttpd -y 3. Start and check lighttpd: sudo systemctl start lighttpd sudo systemctl status lighttpd 4. Set permissions and copy Electrofon: sudo chmod ugo+rwx /var/www/html cp -r electrofon-win32-x64/resources/app/* /var/www/html 5. Install Google Chrome (if not already installed): sudo apt install libxss1 libappindicator1 libindicator7 -y wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb -y 6.
